The DEAN shall preside at all meetings of the Consular Corps and shall act as its primary representative on any occasion requiring such representation. The Dean shall be the Chief Officer of the Consular Corps.
The VICE DEAN shall act as DEAN in the absence or inability of the Dean, and perform such duties as assigned by the Dean. There shall be two Vice-Dean positions at all times.

The EXECUTIVE CHIEF OF STAFF shall act as Dean when the Dean and Vice Dean(s) are absent or unable to serve and shall perform duties assigned by the Dean. The Executive Chief of Staff serves in an executive capacity as the principal advisor on policy, governmental relations, business relations, and strategic partnerships. This role also manages daily operations, maintains Consular Corps relationships, coordinates activities and programming, manages staff, and promotes efficient, smooth operations.
The EXECUTIVE SECRETARY shall act as Dean in the absence or inability of the Dean and Vice Dean(s), and Executive Chief of Staff, and shall discharge such duties as assigned by the Dean. The Executive Secretary shall give notices of all Consular Corps meetings, keep records of meetings, conduct correspondence, and maintain all records of the Consular Corps. The Executive Secretary shall also maintain a listing of all registered members of the Consular Corps and the dates of U.S. Department of State, recognition to office in the Houston area, as determined by the most current edition of Foreign Consular Offices in the United States published by the U.S. Department of State; this register shall serve as the basis for the annual Roster. The Executive Secretary shall perform such other duties as are appurtenant to, or required by, the nature of the office.
The TREASURER shall act as Dean in the absence or inability of the Dean, the Vice-Dean(s), the Executive Chief of Staff and the Executive Secretary, and shall discharge those duties as assigned by the Dean. The Treasurer shall be the custodian of the funds of the Consular Corps; shall collect all dues, fees and claims of the organization and deposit them in a proper depository at an FDIC-insured institution; shall maintain the accounts of the Consular Corps and shall arrange for their annual audit, and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Dean and/or the Executive Committee. The Treasurer shall distribute the Consular Corps roster, if so directed, by the Executive Secretary, and shall collect all funds from the Roster. The Treasurer must have the capacity to carry out banking activities within the United States, and in most cases, is expected to be a permanent resident or a citizen of the United States.
