Holocaust Museum Houston documents, studies, and interprets Holocaust history and serves as Texas’s memorial to the millions murdered during the Holocaust.

The Museum’s mission is to advance and share knowledge of this unprecedented tragedy, preserve the memory of those who suffered, and encourage visitors to consider the questions raised by the Holocaust and their responsibilities as citizens in a democracy.

Houstonians serve as local stewards of Holocaust memory by collecting, preserving, and sharing the testimonies of survivors, liberators, and their descendants; honoring the memories and stories of those who were murdered; and defending the historical record against Holocaust denial, distortion, and inversion.
